Founded in 1854, Louis Vuitton was firstly famous for their innovative luggage. More than a century later, in 2002, the brand launched the first Louis Vuitton watch collection, the Tambour. Not only did this collection gather men and women watches, it also included simple and sophisticated watches like chronographs, tourbillon or GMT. The Tambour was a huge success for the brand so Louis Vuitton quickly released new models like the Escale watch. In 2009 the brand introduced the Spin Time movement, the very first Louis Vuitton in-house calibre. In order to bring together watchmaking specialists and artisans within the same manufacture, Louis Vuitton created La Fabrique du Temps in Geneva in 2014. Two years later, in 2016, the brand launched a very complicated timepiece, the Voyager Flying Tourbillon which settled Louis Vuitton as a true high-end watchmaker.
